As a family, we have many professional educators in our family tree, and are committed to the idea of great education involving the hands and hearts of students. We encourage schools, educational programs and clubs to look at hand-spinning as a means of teaching students about agricultural history, as well as inspiring creativity. We also like to stress the political and social importance of spinning in history -- Mahatma Gandhi used the reinvigorating of the hand-spinning movement in India as a means toward independence!
